# Assets

Storychat comprises three primary assets:

1. **Story Point**
2. **GEM**
3. **$SCHAT**

Story Point and GEM are managed off-chain, while $SCHAT is managed on-chain.

## Story Point

Story Point is the most basic currency and asset used within Storychat. It is utilized for basic functions in Storychat and has the widest range of applications. Users can acquire Story Points for free through Daily Check-In or missions, and they can also purchase them via payment.

**Methods to Acquire Story Points:**

* Season leaderboard rewards
* In-app purchases
* Storychat membership subscriptions
* P2P transactions
* Mission completion
* Daily Check-In
* $SCHAT swaps

**Uses of Story Points:**

* Conversing with AI characters
* Generating images and videos
* Removing story length limitations
* Creating longer short-form videos

## GEM

GEM is the currency required for paid content and can be purchased through in-app payments. It is also the currency paid to creators who generate actual revenue, and it can be converted into cash.

* Subscribing to creators

## $SCHAT&#x20;

$SCHAT is the token of Storychat and utilizes the Aptos blockchain network. $SCHAT is managed on-chain and supports various economic activities within the platform.
