1. Character Creation & Settings
Q. What fields are required to create a Character?
A. At minimum, you need a Name, Profile Image, and First Message.
Other fields (Background Image, Description, Category, NSFW settings, etc.) are optional but help increase visibility and appeal.
Q. What is the “First Message”?
A. It’s the very first thing your Character says in a new chat.
It sets the tone and scenario, so we recommend making it short, engaging, and relevant.
Q. What’s the difference between Visibility and NSFW settings?
A. Visibility → Sets your Character to Public (shown in Explore) or Private (only visible to you).
NSFW → Marks the Character as mature content; only visible to users with Safe Mode turned off, and hidden from Explore.
Excessively explicit or guideline‑violating NSFW content may be removed without warning.
Q. What does “Continue from a Previous Chat” do?
A. It lets you start a new Storychat using a past chat as background context, so you can continue the same storyline instead of starting over.
Great for creating ongoing narratives and linking them into a Series.
2. Series & Storychat Sharing
Q. What’s the difference between a Series and a Storychat?
A. A Storychat is a single chat episode.
A Series is a collection of multiple Storychats combined into a connected storyline.
Series get higher visibility in the Feed and Explore.
Q. How do I share a chat?
A. In the chat’s side menu, tap Publish Chat to make it public.
Once published, use Share to generate a link to distribute outside Storychat.
Q. How do I create a Series?
A. Two ways:
From the Create page → Create Series → Add title, description, category, and Storychats.
While chatting → Publish Chat → Choose to create a new Series or add to an existing one.
Q. Can sharing a Series or Storychat earn me money?
A. Yes! If someone joins Storychat through your shared link and makes payments, you earn 30% of their payments for 1 year.
3. Image Generation & Mood Snap
Q. How do I generate images?
A. Go to the Create page → Create Image → Enter a prompt.
Each image costs 100 SP, but Gold users can generate unlimited images for free with priority speed.
Q. What is Mood Snap?
A. An image that matches your Character’s emotion or situation in a conversation.
Example: If tagged “Happy,” the image appears when the Character feels happy.
Unlocking costs SP, but it’s free for Gold users.
Q. What is Mood Snap Remix?
A. Modify an existing Mood Snap with a prompt (e.g., “Change the outfit color to red”).
Costs 100 SP per remix; free for Gold users.
4. Monetization & Visibility
Q. Can I make money with my Character?
A. Yes. From your Character profile, tap Share to generate a link.
Anyone can chat with your Character without logging in.
If they later sign up, your invite code is applied automatically and you earn 30% of their payments for 1 year.
Q. Who earns the revenue from shared links—the creator or the sharer?
A. Revenue goes to the link sharer.
Creators benefit by getting free promotion and growing their audience.
Q. Which gets more exposure—Series or single Storychats?
A. Series receive higher priority in the Feed and Explore than individual Storychats.
Whenever possible, bundle related chats into a Series.
5. Plans & SP Usage
Q. What’s the difference between Free, Silver, and Gold plans?
A.
Free → Basic models, limited features, most premium features cost SP.
Silver → Access to select premium models, ad‑free, expanded features.
Gold → Unlimited access to all models and features, free Mood Snap & image generation, Gold badge, fastest speeds.
Q. What is SP used for?
A. SP is used for premium features like image generation, unlocking Mood Snaps, remixes, and longer responses.
Some features are free depending on your plan.
6. Policies & Safety
Q. Where can I find NSFW content guidelines?
A. When creating a Character, click the View Guidelines link in the NSFW toggle section.
Q. What happens if I break the guidelines?
A. Severe or repeated violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or permanent bans.
Q. Why can’t other users see my Character or Series?
A. Your Visibility might be set to Private, or NSFW is on and the viewer has Safe Mode enabled.
Make sure it’s Public and compatible with the viewer’s settings.
